Welcome to Gotherington Village Hall! We've been providing a space for community activities for over 100 years. We're located in the heart of Gotherington, next to the Freeman Field and playpark. On this site you can find out about activities that are going on at the hall, as well as finding out about how to hire the hall for yourself!
We're run by the Village Hall Committee, a registered charity, and our aim is to provide facilities for social, recreational and educational use for the people of Gotherington and the surrounding neighbourhood.
We are always looking for people to volunteer and get involved! We have a number of elected members, and representatives from our user groups. We meet every 2 months to discuss the running of the hall.
From Summer 2021 we have a number of key roles coming up and would love to hear from you if you are interested in helping out:
1. GVH Maintenance - responsible for leading on the upkeep of the building, and organising tradesman to come in and fix or improve things where needed.
2. GVH Secretary - responsible for keeping us organised! Scheduling our meetings, maintaining minutes and records and keeping us on track.
3. GVH Bookings - responsible for managing customer bookings through our Hallmaster booking diary, and managing access to the hall through our codelock system.
If you are interested in any of these roles, or just being part of the committee, please get in touch through firstname.lastname@example.org
